Bingo! Considering this seems to be the case in many corners of the world, one is merely displacing the source of emissions. It is for this very reason they should NOT be called Zero Emissions Vehicles but Displaced Emissions Vehicles. I'm pleased to see it's not just me who thinks this way  ...

Dare I say it, but it looks like the colour you're practicing with is what we call 'Teal' :problem: You would think the colour tied to the registration number would be the correct one. Not sure if you have seen this yet? https://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=212965#p212965 Screenshot below ...

If electric cars are being re-charged by non-green electricity companies, how is that helping the climate? Chris. Bingo! Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Last few days in and off I've been refreshing the fork oil and seals on the Tuono, which is electronic so was new to me. That's now done, but while I was there I wanted to check out a pulsing feeling I have been getting for a while when braking. It feels like a warped disc, so while I had the heads...

Re: 1997 Rebuild gone bad
As far as I can feel....yes. I've probably stuck about 300 miles on it, so I think serious mechanical failures would have presented themselves by now. (I hope!) I'll grab a video and upload it. Thanks for your response! Craig   Apart from what Kev says, the only thing I can think ...

Re: 1997 Rebuild gone bad
Hi Craig, So basically once you have got the first start-up of the day out of the way everything else is working as it should be, when ticking over and when riding it out on the road
Uploading a video of it trying to do it’s first start up of the day might help,
Chris

Re: The RD400 drag bike
Since my last flurry of activity and posts, the project went off teh boil for a while, but it is now back as a focus and i intend to get to the Straightliners, Run What You Brung meeting at Santa Pod on April 7th. So the work now completed is - a full rebuild of the air shifter (but not tested in a...
