Re: DO you have a speedo correction adapter?
Good idea Thanks we will see if it gains traction so far, not a single responses, two pages, 4 FB groups :D I thought it would be a good resource for new blokes coming to the bike, or other owners who had not ye installed a speedo correction adapter. Perhaps a solution for a question no one asks?.....

Re: Bike isn't charging
I have a question. So this looks like a universal kit? When you mention "proper cabling", do mean the correct connectors themselves, or is there more to it than that? The kit seems to fit a wide variety of uses. Does it come with instructions so I'm able to wire it correctly? Good questio...

Re: Bike isn't charging
The OEM or cheap aftermarket Regulator Rectifiers are know crap. Additionally the OEM wiring was marginal when new, worse as it aged. The Best fix is a MOSFET Genuine Shindengen fh020aa RR and proper cabling https://i.postimg.cc/LJJJhXFB/MMS-GEN-III-RR-kit.jpg Check the stator to wiring harness, RR ...

Welcome.
Take a look at some common trouble issues. ACCTs, Charging system, sticking turn signal, horn, starter buttons and general maintenance stuff and have fun getting to know the bike.

Re: Indicators, reg/rec & battery cooking...
Spend the money once and be done with it.
If you make your own kit, invest in the tools and proper quality components to do it right, or your just kicking the problems down the road.

Re: Oil seal broken behind front sprocket
seal.jpg As long as it is not leaking oil from the three possible leak points (red stars) there is nothing to fix. The rubber coating missing from the outer edge of the seal steel shell (green mark) has no effect at all on the seals serviceability. At some point grit, string, something was likely p...
Re: Wiring
I have a bit of an issue - or may have a bit of an issue - with the dash wiring on my VTR. The wiring has been butchered elsewhere on the bike which is easily redeemable, but the dash wiring is odd: The plugs and sockets fit together with no issue, but the wiring colours don't line up. All the colo...

Re: It's that time again.....
the problem with anodising is the aluminium.. believe it's the difference in qualities Its not just "qualities" but type and then cast, vs forged vs extruded...they all anodize differently..I've had enough assemblys or parts that make up an assembly come back as a rainbow selection of col...
