As far as i know, the newer R/R's which include the built in heat sink are safe.
This mod is for those that do not have the newer unit and to save money. ;)

Pretty straight forward job mate.
Just make sure the bike is well secured and not going to go anywhere when you remove that front end. :)

Doesn't mater if your cans are BS stamped no more... As long as your cans are not marked 'NOT FOR ROAD USE' your ok. ;) It's now also up to a MOT tester's discretion to say if it's loud or not to pass a MOT. Has some nice stiching with cable ties on both lowers and i wash it once every 3 months if i get around to it! 8)
