Re: 2 into 1 exhaust system on the Firestorm
Many have tried,
Watching this with interest.
I have been thinking about a 2-1 system with a low mount Buell type can.
I have seen it somewhere before but can't find it.

Re: TL1000R
That is a clean R, Nice bike. My brother had a tls and I did a lot of work to it. The back shock was changed to an R1 until with the help of a bracket that I got from a guy here in Oz. Transformed the bike. Fitted a Timing Retard Eliminator, clear clutch cover, lightened flywheel , valve adjustment,...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Thoughts on the Angel GT11s! Have done 450 Ks on them now and they feel really planted when leaned over compared to the Sportmax 11 s that I had and got 13500 Ks out of . They were a bit "Squirily " at the end. The Angels ride softer yet are slower to turn , almost heavier . I hope I get t...
Re: TL1000R
Be careful,
They can have lots of problems.
Water pump seals are finicky and troublesome as well as the back shock.
Get a Storm mate.

Service and new Angel GT 11 tyres.
Re: Warning !
Have had 2 huggers fitted over the years ,
I have 16/ 42 gearing that shortens the wheelbase and that coupled with the profile of the tyre caused it to hit the brace.
Just something to take into account !
Cheers

Warning !
Just thought that I would post a warning to those with a braced Swing Arm that have used the original Fireblade brace. I went to get a new set of tyres fitted today and they were Metzeler M5 Interact Sports. Because of the profile they hit the brace . I ended up with some Pirelli Angel GT 11 and the...

Re: This bike looks familiar (BTT?).
Betcha it's good to have her back. The VTR has soul. You can have all the gimmicks however the VTR delivers. I had a series of bikes and don't regret ever having kept the VTR. There are a few bikes in the CAVE but none stir the soul like the VTR. Welcome back. Cheers from OZ

I can't help but wonder how members bikes have arrived at their current state and am curious about the journey that the owner took. I have enjoyed every minute of the trip with my VTR right from when I first got it. Asthmatic piec...
