Re: So who rides horses too?

The more I get into it the more I think the unpredictability is a huge part of the appeal. There's an almost symbiotic relationship that grows with familiarity and it's very rewarding. The two abreast issues comes up time and time again with cyclist too. As a solo cyclists, for the most part, riding...

Re: Why your car servicing costs could be about to rise

I'm so glad the VTR is quite old tech and not like a glorified Epson printer! last year I swapped company car for free (mid class insignia) for old bmw. I didnt have to do it, but havent regret single second. But I must admit sometimes I feel strange about the fact I have two cars, both from 1995 a...

I ride.. Have my own horse and the missus has hers. Mine is a 17.3 hands high warm blood on which I do three day eventing. Big horse that mate. I've very envious based on the rest of your post and I can certainly associate with what you say about looking back and thinking how crap I was. The arena ...

I didn't have these as I made the incorrect assumption Nick lived in or around Derby central, so there still up for grabs, sorry Nick.
Not a problem mate. Cheers for updating the post.

Unfortunately to complete the circle I suspect vehicles without the right technology will be banned. Or at least made intolerably expensive.

Re: Old fat ex 250 racer.

Welcome Ross. Where are you based? As above. I got my forks sorted by Roger and got lucky finding Penske shock already setup for my weight. They're on my bike and it handles much better than I can deal with. From what I've read from other racers on here these bike make up for outright speed in handl...

Re: So who rides horses too?

Having owned one and shared maintenance duties with my daughter for a number of years, they are feckin mental and are waiting for any opportunity to hurt you, little b8stard! They walk the same journey time after time with no issues, then one day a bird chirps or plastic bag flutters and the mental...

Re: Firestorm Face book page

. Was I a bit nervous about meeting a bunch of people who clearly had a rapport for a track day last year? Yes, a little. Did I fit in? Yes, I think so. Would I be so willing to put myself in that position with people on the Facebook group? No, I don't think so. I've been on enough group holidays t...

So who rides horses too?

This is probably not going to be the most popular thread on here but we all ride bikes, I know some cycle so there must be at least one other who rides horses too. My misses used to ride as a kid and has spent the last few years persuading me that I'd love it. My daughter has taken it up regularly t...

Another one free to a good home - exhaust headers

Complete with rear down pipe. Standard headers in good nick bar a crack in the bend that goes to the left link pipe.

Might be possible to weld it.
