Re: Carb Tuning guide (setting up a Dynojet or Factory Pro kit)
Its the female end of the needle. As has been said this is not normally a serviceable part as it's press fitted into the body but is the kind of thing a specialist carb refurb company possibly could do.

Re: Carb; fine tuning question
First off what a really well written and explained post. I obviously want it to pull hard all the time whenever I want it to, and maybe that's asking too much from two very large, finicky CV carbs. Maybe this is a normal trait and something I need to learn to live with. I am curious if other riders ...

He must be feeling the love for it again as he's given it a bath. Good to see it back together and not in bits or beaten up.

Re: Waterproof over trousers ... reccomendation
This is the kind of thing I prefer. Roll them up and store under the seat and slide them over whatever your wearing when needs be. Cheap Gortex...you wont get more waterproof than that. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Goretex-Trousers-Black-Security-Police-Waterproof-Over-Trousers-Super-Grade/28328807429...

Re: Boris Johnson
Well we have always been a few years behind following the US so it's about time we had a PM that uses the same barber as Trump  The political system is screwed and no longer a democratic process that's if it ever was. Only about 0.25% of people voted. And who can blame folk for not voting as it...

You could get an Earth sticjer for the fuel cap Sorry I couldn't resist when I saw you sig The bike is looking great. I like the colours and the carbon parts will really balance things out but that frame is crying out for a carbon protector.

Re: Carb Tuning guide (setting up a Dynojet or Factory Pro kit)
Not only de-icing but the heat also helps with the atomisation of fuel. Look how close they are to the float bowls so warming the fuel in there kind of like pre heating an oven. It's like a thermostat only in reverse. A thermostat remains closed at first to help the engine warm up quicker and then o...

Re: it's goodnight from me
Sorry to hear this news. Sad when private companies have deals like this tied in with others misfortunate events and making money off the back of other peoples misery. I once lost a bike because I had a crash and was laid up in hospital where storage fees for my bike built up to the point where it w...

Re: Seat too high!
I suppose another possibility is that the seat plastic has warped slightly. I would imagine if a heavyweight was sitting in the seat a lot then the rear pillion part of the seat could raise slightly so in theory bending or warping the plastic in the middle. And if you have the rear seat cowl in plac...
