Re: OP Storm Rhyder September

Hi everyone, I spoke to George (Geodude) last night and he's fine. He's really busy with other things at the moment he is hoping to attend at some point but unfortunately he hasn't got the time to organise it, so he's asked me to take over the organising side of it, I'll be speaking to the campsite ...

Re: Indicators with high levels

Mine was already cut off so haven't got that option!!!, Ok, can you not get someone to fabricate a piece of aluminium to fix to what you've got left of your existing plastic and drop down to incorporate the nbr plate and indicators, if you don't know anyone and you're struggling, I'll make you one ...

Re: Matlock Bath SP owners meeting May 10th

Now moved to the following week due to a clash with the Andy Devlin memorial run. If anyone wants to come along to either, the memorial meet up is at the Birmingham Motorcycle museum at 12:00 lunch time. I'll be arriving a bit earlier for a gossip  The Matlock meet up is still at Matlock just...

Re: Which rear brake pads do you recommend?

Thanks for all your replies Kev, not a complaint, just want to make them better as I use them all the time Yeah I know I wasn't referring to you personally  I was just saying in general there seems to be a lot of people complaining lately about their brakes and was wondering if they're loo...

Re: Front Brakes

Weird one this, everybody seems to expect different things. I have rebuilt all my brake system and find the fronts great as bog standard. I have just sold a fazer with the yamaha blue dots which were awesome, but I dont find the nissins noticeably worse. I am really not convinced by these hard HH p...

Re: Which rear brake pads do you recommend?

Nothing wrong with the standard Honda Nissin pads, service the caliper, braided hoses they will be fine for normal road use plus more, try it, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the outcome :D People keep complaining about brakes, what they seem to forget is these things do need servicing regular to ke...

Re: Which heat resistant material?

I used one of those plumbers mats that you use when you're soldering joints near a joist etc, you can get them from B&Q, Screwfix or a plumbing merchant for about a fiver, cut it to shape and glue it in with stikoflex or simillar, worked for me

Re: Breather filters

Hi I went to change my air filter today and found the foam filters for the breathers were in bits. My nearest dealer is a 75 mile round trip and i doubt they keep them anyway and David Silver Spares dont have stock so they will be 5 to 7 days too. This maybe a silly question but has anyone made a s...

Re: air box foam

Oops I think I got a bit carried away there, from a man who likes to stick with OEM oil filter and air filter. I think the same should apply as you rightly say Kev. I think I got carried away with the price for the foam in that link, as Honda want something like £6 each for the genuine bits of foam...
