I know which I'd rather do 400 miles in a day on, the 'Storm or a supersports 600? The 'Storm I think! Or ride on a strange twisty road - the 'storm beats most things hands down - on the track, maybe different, but I don't go on the track! Done 26,000 miles in 4 years on mine without a hiccup - pegs...

Last time Bike tested the 'Storm they arived at 157.50 mph. All of which i s baldrocks because I get really bored with people coming past on long straights @ 120 odd the going really slowly in twisties, when I get back again. Fastest I've seen on the clock was 155, which felt mighty fast enough for ...

$1800!!
I knew they were quite expensive, but didn't realise quite how much! I would have budgeted for between £350 - £450 if I could have found a Harris one, but appreciate this may not be acceptable if it cost $1800 originally.

Fuel Tanks
Mine's a '98 with the 16litre tank and after 3 years and 24000 miles I'm really getting fed up with the limited range as I do more distance stuff now. A while ago there were some links to some US sites who made carbon/kevlar 25litre tanks - anybody know of any out there? Anyone know of a UK manufact...

SP1/2
The SP1 & 2 are completely different to the FireStorm and don't share any common parts at all. Capacity is 999cc rather than 996. Swing arm isn't connected to back of engine for greater rigidity etc. A track tool which Honda used to win WSB twice. If I had a dream garage I'd have one but for 95%...

I just bought the Scorpions with the removable baffles. Whilst with them out there is more low down, I found myself changing up earlier than normal as I was aware of the noise through villages etc, so I have decided to leave them in as they still sound good but I know that they are legal in case I g...

Always clunky between 1st & 2nd and doesn't seem to have any ill effects after 28,000 miles - short shift or have revs fairly high better. Semi-synthetic does help a lot actually

I get up to 115 miles before the RLOD, so thats about 185km?
Think the art is not to use too much low rev grunt and actually spin the engine a bit.

Kerlunk
Try using semi synthetic oil. I found it reduced the clunk into 2nd very noticably. As the oil gets older the effect is less, but if you change it regularly it will help.
