Chromium is an open-source web browser - though there's a bad one around if you installed it.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Alan hopefully.....

If you go to start and find "add/remove programs" or similar chromium should be in the list. The other option is to restore the computer to an earlier time before chromium was on it. What type is the laptop?
If you don't try you never know if you can do it.

It may help or confuse you ... chromium as you are is a browser folks swear by ... but it
has been infiltrated by malware and virus systems .... anyway good luck with it

Run a virus scan.
Ensure you are using a firewall.
