Derian house toy run - 9th december

Post by BrianC »

Can i just point out to all Lancashire members, and maybe beyond, about the above event.

Derian house is a childrens hospice on Chorley and does absolutely amazing work for children with terminal or life limiting conditions.

As a new grandad this event has an even more strong resonance with me thos year.

The ride will start from rivington barn a 1pm and it is requested that wrapped presents or even donations would be welcomed.

Come on stormers - lets have a turnout.

More info on the event can be found on facebook - ' derian house christmas toy run'

Or drop me a line

Ps ive just changed chain and sprockets on my storm as well as doing a full fluid change !!!

Great day out with fellow stormers graham(taxidriver) and chrisc. Also in attendance was my brother in law on the z1000sx.

Sadly i couldnt make it a hat trick of storms and had to use the blade - not a bad sub !!!!

Massive turnout of bikers helping the less fortunate

Tomorrow i tackle that seized bolt on storm 2 !!!!

Earlier in this thread i admitted i was struggling to remove a bolt from the lower suspension carrier so as to be able to fit one of the brackets for my bellypan.

I had tried my propane torch but to no avail.

A friend of mine loaned me his mapp gas torch and after a few heating and plus gas cycles, and some action with the impact gun i started to get slight rotation.

I then ground off the bolt head and drove the bolt out - what a job!!!

New bolt on order
