Ady,
the longer route sounds great to me........ the roads up there are epic

to be honest I would happily do 3 laps of the Settle to Hawes, over buttertubs and then back down into Sedburgh, then back to Hawes........... then repeat till the pubs open

same roads we used on the way up to Scotland

I don't think there will be a formal route for Sunday. what we find is that some people nip out for a quick hour ride wile others want to sleep in then pack up. then there might be various groups going the same way home and taking some scenic routes when fully loaded.

so sunday will be informal, decide on the day kind of stuff

A slight setback to plans, I got the bike delivered back this afternoon from the second welder, I think you can see what's coming, yes, the leak is still there.
(sigh).
Not a lot I can do from here on in, but it's in the bus and I'll take it back to the first place, who took it to the second place. I don't know who the second welder is, but if they tell me I'll drive there and see if they'll have a go at getting it right on the third go.

Otherwise I could try my luck at a couple of local places I know, to see if they'll help me out without an appointment, probably a long shot though.

I suppose that if I can get it sealed up I could then rebuild it tomorrow, and take it to the MOT place 1st thing Friday if I run out of day on Thursday.

The minutes are ticking by....... Best get a few glasses of wine inside me and get some sleep. (run out of beer as well, it's not being a very good day, all in all).

Onwards and upwards, it's a new day tomorrow.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hi
Looks like I may not be able to play on Sunday.
If I can, I will. But the way things have turned out.....
If I do manage to get there, is there a fuel station nearby?
