Brands Hatch BSB final 17-19 October

Post by tony.mon »

The final round is at Brands and is usually a mix of good racing, a bit of drama and cheap end-of-season bargains.
Byrne, Kiyo, Bridewell, Brookes, Linfoot, Walker, and a few others.

I'll be going, but as I live so close I won't be camping.

Anyone fancy making it a forum outing?
I can provide camping for free, and I have plenty of tents, a marquee etc, so you could just turn up and sleep.

I'll be going to Brands on the bike, probably, but the wife will drive our bus, so free transfers are also possible.

Weekend admission in advance is £34, on the gate is a few pounds more.
Raceday online is £26.
Weekend camping is £26, or you could spend the £26 on beer and hang out at my place.
If it's really cold or miserable I can find space indoors, just bring an inflatable bed and sleepy bag. Or significant other.
If it's really, really cold, a significant other going through the menopause will keep you warm all night.

The woodburner in the new conservatory might get a run-up. Toasty!

A barbecue is definitely on the agenda, as is loud music and of course, general bollox.
Friday night for arrivals, Saturday quali and some races, then Sunday race day.
Or just drop in for a day or two.

Evenings at local pub or working men's club within walking distance.
Often a band locally Saturday night.
Or I can get the disco fired up, lasers, smoke and bubbles optional..... :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Taz: :Woohoo: :Woohoo: :Whip: :Taz: :Taz:

I should be going for the weekend, it's my birffday on the Sunday, so should be fun!

I might be getting cheap weekend and camping tickets, so should be good on that front.

Sounds great Tony

Just need to double check I'm free on that date, but I'd like to provisionally say I'll be there!

General bollox, beer, bikes & possibly music... what's not to like eh :)

I'd be up for this, well it is local-ish after all.

Don't forget tho that the weekend before is Champ Malcs last CRMC round at Snetterton...Still awaiting confirmation that he will be attending but apart from the fuel/distance it's a cheaper & more relaxed day at the races for £14...

No worries mate; I'll be going on the Sunday for sure with the wife and daughter, but if anyone else is going I may catch the Saturday race as well.

Me an Lloyd will be there on the Sunday. I have 2 tickets for all 3 days but as Lloyd can only make 1 day the Sunday it may well be unless someone knows different to which day will be best?

Coming on the bikes if it's nice, the car if not

Ok, all welcome.
Kev, you want to sleep over indoors or plan on kipping in the four wheeled palace?

Hopefully the windows, doors and roof light are going into the conservatory on Tuesday, so we'll have loads of room.
