I have put the kettle and camping stove in the boot of the car plus a few disposable bbqs that we didn't use at Glasto, so don't worry about bringing any of that stuff.

with a couple more drop outs it looks like we will meet in Settle at the petrol station on the main street near the railway....... suggest we meet there at 12 noon and then go up to Hawes where we will grab some lunch.
who will be meeting there?

from Hawes we can go over buttertubs pass again then down into Sedburgh, then to Kendal, then up the A6 towards Carlisle and fill up at the Golden Fleece service station where the A6 and M6 join........ we will meet KermittLeFrog there at 3.30


then I guess we are meeting Stuart [grumpyfrog] in Morrisons café in Dumfries at 4.15

then back roads to Kirkcudbright where we should meet up with Fabiostar and mate

most pubs in Kirkcudbright are good, but I would avoid the first 2 you walk past from the campsite. the Tides Inn and the Royal Hotel are at the rough end of the spectrum . go to the Bay over the crossroads and on the right.

Or if you are common like the rest of us, get a carryout from Tescos and sit in the park playing on the roundabout and zip wire till the police arrive

Enjoy it fellas. Al make sure I make it next year. I don't care what you have to do I want to do this run. Haven't been to Scotland for years and would love to go back. Might even make a week of it and do a tour
