yorkshire progressive route

Post by adyf »

Going out today to log the route for the prog group into my Garmin, will be different to flatties as moving at a pace and be a bit longer but should all meet up in hawes for around 12 or12-30 for chips etc ,if this is a problem please don't be afraid to speak up as the route can follow the other groups if people prefer, also it's the first time I've lead so be gentle or I'll tear you a new un!lol ,ady.

You may well wombles laugh ,I've had it all today ,horizontal rain and wind ,fog real bad, sunshine etc ,roads were 'interesting' kept me awake, hopefully the route is good,so start in newbiggin -leyburn-ripon-leyburn-Richmond-kirkby Stephen-sedbergh-hawes,lunch,hawes-ingleton-settle-ribblehead-hawes-grassington-newbiggin campsite and beer can add extra roads in around leyburn etc if people.want to go a bit further.

Does it have to be chips?
I'm on a diet.

Prog rocks, by the way.

Won't need to get past me- you're leading, aren't you?

I'll just potter along behind.

Yeah would be handy for me too mate, since ill be trying to play catch up. Assuming ill have a stinking hang over, I guess ill set off from home about 10am and be in the dales for around 11. I was going to work out where I can wait for you guys to come past.

Knowing our lot mate be 11am before we leave the campsite! Could wait for you in Richmond even though we don't go there it will just add a few miles till you get to the kirkby Stephen turnoff if you let me or Al know where you are.
