Seems like a plan.

Where will the bonfire be tho ?

Bike parking ?

You also might want to check first to see if bikes are welcome...

If all checks out I'm in...

They have a BBQ, we could all huddle round that....

Count me in.

Sounds good, but, will Op Storm Wales actually BE Op Storm Wales without being on that camp site with Benny's bench?

Ziggy has a point about the bench, but I like the idea of a bunk house, and the fun is where the group is....

So count me in

Chris makes an interesting point

Not sure what to say about it really

Does it mean we can never go anywhere else?

Could we visit the site to pay our respects and have a beer?

Will this mean much to the newer members?

Some people stay in b&b anyway

Any ideas? Thoughts?

Good point about the camp site, and the bench, It's all part of Wales Op Storm, but I'll go with the crowd, spoke to Sue and she's fine about the bunkhouse, she thinks it's a good idea, although she did mention about us having one of the rooms to ourselves, she doesn't really fancy sharing a bedroom with 20 or so blokes  I can see her point
So count me  cheeksue  and cheekyads  in either way we'll be there :D :D :D

If I make it I'll camp . Don't fancy sharing with 20 smelly snoring old farts . So I'll keep the bench warm

The accommodation is 2 rooms for up to 6 people and 1 room for up to 4 people

There are also some chalets for hire

Now that I know there is interest, I will speak to the owner and see if we can hire it

I suggest this will work similar to Op Devon, up front payment, everyone ok with that?

Don't get me wrong, it does sound good in the bunk house, but then again, I haven't had a bad experience of an Op Storm because of having to camp. I suppose the main up side will be not having to bring a tent and somewhere to dry off if it's wet....

I will follow the crowd and do whichever everyone else wants to do though. As Al says, the fun will be where the crowd is.

Update: Alternative accomodation for Op Storm Wales?

Post by Flatline »

I have spoken to the owners about us staying there

They have friends who are bikers so the answer is YES!

I will get more information, however, we can have a barbecue (I will find out if she meant there is one there to use)

Also, the owners have fresh eggs, bacon and sausages available so we can make our own breakfast

Or they will cook and deliver!!

I thinks the latest for delivery is 7.30am

Sounds good
