Being a bit of a ditch expert would you say Devon ditches are more or less comfortable than Scottish ditches, and how do they both compare to London and the Home Counties ditches?
Maybe you could write a book - a cabbie motorcyclists guide to excavations and drainage systems of the U.K. and Spain. Now that's got best seller written all over it!!

I've had a monster week. Finished work an hour ago and feel exhausted. Didn't feel well and slept badly last night. All in all I felt like sh1t. Hadn't been on a bike all week.

Dragged some boots and gloves on, better fill up the Storm if I'm going to Scotland. Short ride to the garage, fill up and short ride back and just having been on the bike I feel great; buzzing! You have got to love these machines. They are the elixir of youth.

Is the bloke on the left at the rear of that photo an extra from Chariots of Fire, the unfit feckers version, or an escapee from the local home for ageing and confused punk rockers? Or Mo Szylak from the Simpsons?
