Northumberland

Post by Pem Brooke »

Lovely run out in Northumberland today...up the A1, off at Rothbury turn off (North Morpeth), up through Longhorsley and Longframlingtom, then right across to Alnwick, back down 'The Coastal Route'. Around 2 hours from the Tyne Tunnel. Stunning countryside, fast open roads and a bit of dual carriageway. Oh...and hardly any traffic

Thats another great route  I also used to like the B1068 from my Grans (Red Row) and go straight up the coast

Yep, PeteL....I go past Red Row on my way past Druridge Bay, then up the 'Coastal Route' through Boulmer...via Alnmouth. Just great
