Been looking at gmaps
Thinking about a route from Brough to Middleton in Teesdale
Up to Alston then across to Stanhope
Down to Eggleston then Barnard Castle
Or from Stanhope over to Wolsingham then down to Bedburn and on to Eggleston/Barnard Castle
Anyone know if this is a good ride?
Don't really want to go any higher north
Who knows routes in the North Pennines?
Re: Who knows routes in the North Pennines?
buttertubs pass? winds its way from Simonstone (nr Hawes) to Thwaite, or blubberhouses? north of Harrogate (a59 IIRC) and of course the ribble via duct to Hawes, any of those would be worthy of inclusion to any route.
I've now gone all European and bought a KTM Superduke GT and Aprilia RSV1000R ,
Storm is now gone . .
