Going to be tight to get there for 12. I've been looking forward to this all year. Really don't want to miss it. Stressing about getting it all ready.

What's the plan for Saturday? Are we doing the good forest roads we did on the Sunday last year?

Chris,
If you are short of time meet us in Penrith, or Dumfries like Stu said. If you miss out the detour over the moors you can save yourself 2 hours.
You know if you don't come you will be kicking your self.

Plan for Saturday would be to do the Sunday ride from last year but will make a decision in the morning when we can see what the weather is going to do.

now you have confused me :? [not hard] ..

the one where ziggy pissed in the hedge behind the sign was the Tescos petrol station just off the bypass.

the one we used to meet you at on the friday was the Morrisons in the town ctr.... so you could sit in the café.

but it will be faster for us to use the bypass, so lets agree to use Tescos at about 4.30 on Friday

this one ..

Ugh yeah it's not the wife and kids it's work. I'm up and down to London all the time. Just don't get time for anything else.

I'm pretty certain I'm coming. I love the Scotland trip. I'm just not sure how I'm going to get the bike and camping gear sorted in time. Half tempted to just book a b&b and wear the same pants all weekend. I could wash them in the sink?

B&Bs are full, but you can share a tent with me or Pete so you only need to find your sleeping bag.

Well that's me...in from London at 7, 2 hours earlier than expected thanks to a cracking contractor and good handover.

Haven't touched the bike for months so oil done, tyres inflated, belly pan removed & refixed securely, top box rack fitted and even a little wipe down before packing. Oh and usb rewired too as it had come loose.

And all before midnight too.

I'm sure I've forgotten something so please all bring along a spare of anything you can carry.

See you all in the morning Image
