The front felt a bit better on the brakes but it was difficult to tell with my luggage on. I'll have another play and try a few settings on my local test route and see how I get on. At least I've got a direction to go in now

A good mix of riding, from nice fast A roads to bimbling across Dartmoor avoiding sheep sleeping in the road.

Not too much went wrong, Mac snapped his ignition key but luckily it wasn't far from a shop that cuts keys, they also had transponder keys and coded them for him, just a bit sweaty pushing the bike from the petrol station to the shop, about 1/4 mile in 25 degree heat with leathers on.
Tony ran out of fuel but Mac had a syphon tube and we were only a mile or so from a petrol station.

.
Pushing Mac's bike in all that heat with your leathers on, flippin' 'eck man I had a hard enough job to ride mine in leathers let alone push it
A good job Malc you knew a guy who had the new keys in stock

Glad you all had a great weekend and got back home safely  8)

I'm only sorry I couldn't join you all,

Chris.

About 10 mins after I got home...Had to get the riding gear off first !

800.4 miles for the weekend...

Last year I did 840.9 but I came home via A303 this year & according to Petes Prat Nav the 303 was the shorter route.

Felt sorry for Frank as when I put Nue Red away I checked the thermometer in the MacCave...it was showing 94*f..oh the joys of a tin roof...

ah but last year we had to go back and extract Marty from a ditch, so that would have added a few miles

Good point well made but I didn't do any extra for that as I was next on scene so just rode past laughing...Then stopped, parked up, walked back, checked he wasn't hurt, started laughing a bit more, helped pull the bike out, laughed some more & instanly stated taking the piss...as you do.
