I'm in Exeter, is there anything worth seeing?

Post by tony.mon »

Going to a wedding in the Castle on Sunday, so I have tonight and tomorrow (and possibly monday) to find something to do. Any locals with a (polite) suggestion?

Cheers

Bridge motorcycles Marsh Barton Exeter is not bad if you want something bike like to do.

Buckfast abbey where you can buy some booze that'll make you beat people up at the wedding  https://www.theguardian.com/society/201 ... o-violence

Westbay is quite nice

Paignton, Torbay, the English Riviera isn't too far

Exeter itself has history so could be worth a walk around.

That's about my limited knowledge as I'm up the North of the county..

I nearly could have met up with you as I was supposed to be going there tomorrow with the kids but some work has come in that can't wait so they're going without me.

There is (or was?) a Helmet city store at West Bay should you need to spend some cash.

Got a meal, then crashed tickets on the door to see Ferocious Dog at the Pheonix.
Half price cause we missed the support bands.

Thanks for suggestions, apparently 2 for 1 cocktails at the Quay tomorrow, that might get messy.
