rob,
my ferry booking is:
booked the Friday outbound depart Holyhead at 11.30am to dublin with a 2hr crossing time.
return monday dublin depart at 2-15pm

so I will be in Dublin at 1.30 on Friday and ride through souther Ireland. is it worth me coming via Larne to try and catch you at 3.30? can I get from Dublin to lanre in 2hrs?

Dublin to Larne from Dublin port is handy mate. I live in Belfast and could meet you on the way to Larne at Lisburn services mate?

google says it should take 2hrs 30, so on a yellow bike should be 1hr easy.

ok lads , said whatsup group now up and running. i got a spare 3 year old to add me as i hate fones  .

yes Al by the time we get the larne crew all sorted if as Rob says he goes and meets up with you at lisburn services we can then all meet up and spin up together.. you will need a few spare euros in your pocket as you will have one maybe two tolls to go through on the southern motorways.
the older i get,the faster i was

so Fabio, the next step will be for the 3 yr old to show you how to share your location with the group ... that's the best feature of having a WhatsApp group for an event like this, makes finding out where tony has broken down so much easier. . and as Mac hasn't got a smart phone , we will have to give him a flare gun so we can work out which petrol station we lost him at

When I came in through Dublin last year I just used my card. No euros required

good to know, I generally have euros in my wallet as I am in Germany every month for work, but if I can use a card that is much easier.

Fabio,

this man love orgy caravan you have borrowed... how many proper beds does it have?

I don't mind the smell of rohypnol, the snoring and farting, but I like a proper mattress to rest my skinny bones on, so I can get my beauty sleep :D

so if we are running short of beds I can see if there is room to move to the old peoples home with Kermits crew
