my ferry booking is:
booked the Friday outbound depart Holyhead at 11.30am to dublin with a 2hr crossing time.
return monday dublin depart at 2-15pm

I think Pete middle, Pete major and Pete Minor will be on the same boat
no problems Al.... that leave enough time so that you lot will be getting to belfast/lisburn in time to meet up with the other gang but i will post up closer to the time on the whatsap thingy a place thats handy to meet up.
Yep. Just me and Pete Major. Pete Minor has a crack in his swing arm and it won’t be fixed in time. The silly sausage didn’t get it checked out quick enough after the Devon runImage

I was sure it was a crack, but he was confident it was a scratch.
No matter if the bike is out of warranty, Suzuki should replace that.

I haven’t seen it yet but he was giving it a good clean and apparently it has grown.
He’s going to send Suzuki an Email with pics but I don’t hold much hope as it’s eight years old now so we’re going to swap it out and get it sorted whilst there’s still plenty of summer leftImage
Thanks for spotting it AlImage

well for all the visitors. silly season peaked today on the 12th of july...

what that kinda means is..

large amounts of people in the country got drunk last night, lite huge bonfires and partied most of the night then today. thousands walked round the country with bands playing very loud music and ,as they say over here, kicking the pope..

the rest of the country, the "other side" as they say sat around watching TV trying not to hear said loud music

so thats it, the big build up and its mostly over for another year.

which means for us stormers, we should have pretty much empty roads next weekend as one side will still be hung over, the other side will amble of to Spain for a fortnight..

I got my ferry reminder as well. I'm booked on as "Senior Citizen with motorcycle". Fecking cheek. Doubt that I'll get preferential treatment though. Must practise my wheelies up steel boarding ramps... (not).

If your marked down as a Senior Citizen I hope they gave you a pensioners discount :biggrin Oh well it could have been worse. They could have put you down as vintage

Done a small bit of tinkering today. Refitted the rear calliper and changed the clutch pushrod oil seal. I ran out of energy after that and the Sun was scorching down on me. I don't seem to have much go in me at the moment to get the bike finished quicker. I keep thinking about where I'm actualy going to be able to ride with all this emissions crap tax. Maybe I shall ride out to the new Heathrow terminal when it's built and pump out some crap there. That's a free pollution zone

If the "citizen's report" ban by dashcam is legal and upheld by the courts I may have to sell the bike after my next ban.
But in the meantime, I need to align the back wheel and lube the chain and man up......

There's only one camera in the whole of NI, right?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

4 fixed cameras, all in Belfast. Couple of "specs" cameras near Bangor which we will be nowhere near.
Aside from that you have speed vans but there are very very few so its a lottery reallt

Ah, whatever.
What's the worst that will happen?

Another ban, get the bus to work, wife will divorce me and I'll end up in a squalid bedsit staying up all night watching drug dealers trying to steal my bike, the stress will either kill me or the drug dealers will when I confront them.

Bring it on, it's worth it.....

Remember, on second thoughts I may have to stay in first or second the whole time I'm on the emerald isle.

But then I'll pull "involuntary" wheelies the whole time, leading to a ban etc.

Perhaps I'd better stay on the boat.......

However I get seasick, so maybe.......

Or.....

Bolocks, I have a quick action twistgrip, best use it.
Look out, NI
