Father Christmas run

Post by tony.mon »

Just got back from this year's santa in a sidecar toy run to the school where my wife teaches, a special needs school.
It was a chance to get the SP up to temperature, rained a bit but ok, a bit slippy.
Two clubs traditionally attend. The Bexley Triumph Owners, who as usual did us proud, morepresents than children and a fat cheque for the school, and the Advanced Motorcyclists group, whichever a bit thin on that ground this year.
It seems that they have a general rule where if it's going to be below three degrees they don't ride.
Why are some advanced motorcyclists so retarded?

I had a great ride, only one slide, where the back broke away in the car park, and I had a chance to blat past a few cars on the way home.
Sure, the bike needs cleaning again, but I have a couple of days off next week with nothing particular to do, do allgood there.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
