Enjoy the run, lads and lassies, a safe and law-abiding weekend to you all.

It turns out that it was a good thing I'm not able to go, I was in hospital weds for abdominal pains, had tests and am now recovering.
A pretty doctor poking at my one-pack was the best bit, but I'm still in some pain, so chances are I would have had to bail anyway.
Seems to be muscular rather than medical, but the only thing I was doing was freeing up the rear brake lever and re greasing the rearset, so not exactly hard physical graft.

And watch out for Mac asking for assistance with his "specialist" arm and wrist exercises...... 8O

Blackstuff down, both Guinness and tyres
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

all excuses are lame ...... even mine.

I would much rather be in Devon, but I am mistaking myself for someone who has self governance over his own time 8O

Another Devon Storm over. Thanks to everyone who came along, Had a great weekend, good ride out Saturday and a half wet ride Sunday but it was warm so all ok..
Eating, drinking, riding and laughs, all with like minded friends, fantasitic :D (too much food, moderate drinking so not hung over or over limit)

Hope you all get/got home safe.

Al, we had 9 fri (and part ride Sat) 8 sat and 7 Sunday. plenty of space in the chalets. a shame all those originally coming along couldn't make it.

I made it there safely but still ended up in the back of an ambulance ! 8O

I fell off one of the benches outside the chalets...

Well to tell the trurth I sort of passed out & was lowerd to the the floor where my first responders managed to smack me head on the concreat !

No I don't remember any of this but I'm told I stopped breathing & whilst they were all drawing straws to see who got to do mouth to mouth I came back to life... Started shouting abuse/ rambling BS camled down & back to compos mentis, or as close to that as I can get ...

Now I can remember all that went on from there so the bang on the head wasnt too severe...The ambo was quick getting there & a paramedic turned up...

Cor :erection: what a hottie & Chelsea was her name...

Michaela came with me & just as the door shut various ''Freinds'' were calling out about which bits they wanted off me bike if I didn't come back...

This would have been about half 5 to 6 pm... Free taxi to the hosp in a rust bucket ambo with shagged susspension, worst ride ever felt well shite...

Me & Michaela sat in a cubical until the doc saw me around midnight IIRC had bloods taken nothing majior wrong just put it down to dehydration basicaly, not had much to eat or drink all day...

So self inflicted again.

£40 cab ride back only to find everyone had been to the pub to celebrate my passing (out) & had gone to bed locking us out... Bastids !

Woke Jonsey up & I slept in there as Paul & Rich were too far out of it to let me into my chalet...

I wisely decided not to join the ride out on the Saturday & was joind by Graham (Pete Minor) who's tummy wasn't playing ball... he had the TomTits...

Did go out in the PM to try & find a loud shirt for the funeral on Wednsday but no joy, seems the fashion this year is beige... :confused

Went out on the Sat night had a couple of sniffters.

Joined the ride on Sunday but it was called short as it rained...All thoroughly wet we headed back, dried out, got pizza, went to the pub, played smartphone pub quiz hosted by Quizmaster Jones. Back to the chalets & into bed.

Up on Monday morn to major sea mist but it slowly cleared up, back & ready departing around 9am...

Me, QuizmasterChris & MichaelaNightingale went off via the A303 mainly to visit the Haynes Motor Museum... https://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/

I got in about 17.00 sorted meself out called Chris around 19.00 as me txt wasnt sending they had just got in...

All in all apart from the odd mishap on my part another fantasic DevonStorm...

Cheers all & big thanks again to Malc Grump O'Kat* for organising it...

* I can comfirm several smiles were witnessed over the three days... :D
