That cornmill quay looks like a good spot, plus its near the ferry so we can avoid customs checkpoints and get a bit of smuggling in,i hear a 40kg bag of coal is a good bit cheaper up there Fabio

ok ladies ,base camp is sorted... i went round a few places to check them out . the place i had said, down in annalong was great but, its changing hands in the next few months so dont want to be left out in the cold as they wernt 100% sure the new owners are gona keep things as is at the min..

so..

iv booked us into a nice spot down at the end of Newcastle town itself called the Hostel Hut..it has kitchens, drying rooms for wet kit and is a stones throw from food and drinkies. real nice setup  on the seafront . it has small dorm rooms holding 6,8 and ten beds , had a good chat with the owner and they are bike friendly.

i have booked us spaces for 24 bodies atm, we can add or lower numbers as required, also for those staying on the monday or longer if they wish she says thats not a problem.

cost is £20 per person per night. the place is spotless and is being extended with new wash rooms and showers atm..

she agreed once we have final numbers il run back down end of feb and leave deposits off with her so il wait to then and get either full or deposit money of everybody...

2019 is go lads.

Have you the boat booked? Golf is on the same week here so might be hard to get one now.
You'll have to pm fabio for accommodation or send me a pm even and I'll give it to him
If you don't try you never know if you can do it.
