Well that just means pubs & resturants...

I guess It's up to the holiday company as to if the chalets are gonna be open... Food & beer can be bought in, but we may have to take a pack lunch on the ride out...

However It looks unlikely to be happening in June... Which is sad.

Last I heard from Malc he hadn't had any notification from Richard.

Yeah it such a shame, but I guess needs must, I don’t think plod would let us ride to Devon as exercise as there are parks more local.
I’m glad I don’t run a business this must be horrendous for them.

I've not heard anything from the holiday park as yet, I will email them later in the week to see if they have any update from their end.
It is looking less likely that it will go ahead but it seems things may be changing more regularly from now on.
As for riding in groups, at the moment that's not aloud and if it stays that way it's off. If it does develop and become ok then there's is plenty of food and booze to buy locally and the chalets have cooking facilities.

I'll update with any news.

If it is off I will have to ask for a refund which I hope they would give, I'm sure in the first instance they will offer a credit to re book and if it was a family holiday that may be ok but our situation is different. we will see how it all pans out.

Ah, bollokcs, let's go anyway. As long as we sit in different bus shelters drinking our carryout out of a paper bag, it'll be legal.

The Holiday park will be closed until at least the end of June, there for Devon storm this year has to be cancelled :(

As I suspected they have offered 3 options

1- Book same date next year...

Although this might be ok with me I don't know what I'll be doing with racing and wouldn't want it to clash, it's unlikely as meetings are usually the first or second weekend of the month but I wouldn't know until they release dates.

2- Credit to re book when we're ready.

3- Refund.. I think this will be the most probable option..

I think If one person wants a refund then it will have to be refund for everyone.

Thoughts please..

That’s a shame Malc, but I’m not surprised after Boris had his Sunday Speach.

I’m happy to rebook next year or a refund.
If I can’t make next year hopefully someone would fill my spot as I work shifts so can’t always book when I need to get time off.
Thanks for the update though

Happy to go with option 2...

Leave it in the bank for next year...

If as you say ''I think If one person wants a refund then it will have to be refund for everyone. '' Then so be it.

Damm shame but it is what it is... :(

Yeah, I can leave until next year. I can take off whatever I need by way of holiday, so it won't be a problem, whatever dates it is.
