well its that time already, not ridden the bike yet but it starts and the tyres are pumped up so will chuck it in the van tomorrow morning and set off into the rain.

see you up there but remember to bring your waterproofs 8O as forecast looks a bit sh1t

So it took us twelve hours to drive from Stornoway (with the bike the back) to the Inn on the Loch today through torrential downpours.
Made it safe though, so let's see if there's any riding to be had in the morning.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

An Optimist would Say we got more dry roads than predicted, and when we did it was epic.

But when it did rain it was biblical.

But a good time was had by all

Well, that was very wet!
We managed to find a few dry roads, here we are setting off.

Pete and I calculated that this was my fifth year attending the Scottish meet. That was super fun! The roads were outstanding (unsurprisingly) and it was great to share time, on and off the bike, with everyone - sitting around Alastair’s van with a few beers listening to music and shooting the breeze was great craic. The McQ school of motorcycling is the best! Thanks for making it happen Al and opening my eyes a tremendous part of the world. Dalveen Pass!!!
