Luckily I am the boss of this workshop and also have a very understanding boss with regards the company overall.. he doesn't mind things like the projects etc as long as they don't impact production for the other customers. So it sits there and gets some time when I have it. It's also nice to have it so close to try the parts out before going any further or having a redesign etc.

Thanks for the comments Marty, the frame etc is all powder coated in a satin black, has a kind of soft sheen to it. Hopefully it'll all come out right and something like I have in my head. It's taking a while as I am doing about an hour a day here and there making the parts amongst other proper work. More to the point I just want to make it a bit individual to me and see what I can do to make a few extra special bits for it without losing the identity of the bike.. so you look at it and first thoughts are "it's a firestorm" but then only see subtle change without them being too obvious and if you know the bikes. Probably be why I will also hard anodise and colour most of the aluminium parts like the bottom yoke in the picture so they blend a little and get lost in the overall picture even though I am not sure I should with some of them as they are a little special.. still we will see?
