Beware Of This E Bay Seller

Post by kenmoore »

Carcamworld2.

They take your money, then after the event tell you that they are closed for approx 4 weeks due to a Chinese Holiday.

Then when you message them they give you the runaround, offer a refund after having your money for weeks, then say that they have shipped the parts.

The parts never turn up so they offer you a $2- discount and that they will send the parts again.

Parts don't show up and then they offer a full refund. By this stage we are 2 months down the track.

When you tell them that you want what you paid for they reply by saying that they are shut for approx 4 days.

Remember Carcamworld2, The worst E Bayer that I have had the misfortune to deal with.

Original payment made on the 25Th January, now the 4Th of April and still no parts.

Thanks for the heads up. I wonder what they do with the money while they have hold of it. Stocks and shares like the banks maybe  Report them to eBay.

Try Carcamworld2012

I bought the mirrors from U.S E Bay.

The customer service arm of their business ( That's a joke) uses the moniker of Carcamworld2.

Mongrels still haven't responded to my numerous E Mails.

I am not giving up on them.

I have alerted the brethren in Oz as well as the States so far.

Am about to go on all the other forums and advise them about this shonky company as well.

some may say take a refund, I say stuff that, I'm going to hassle the crap out of these deceiving b8stard.

A big part of their business model is the 4WD market with L.E.D light bars and I am about to join a few 4WD forums around the world and spread the word on there as well.

Smarmy b8stard , even if I don't get what I paid for I'm sure that I can cost them plenty by letting everyone know how they treat their customers.

The thing that really ticked me off about all of this apart from the fact that I don't have my parts is that they offered me a $2- credit, the nerve of them.

Don't bother getting too carried away, they will just change their name and round it goes. Far too easy to re register on fleecebay.

I will keep pushing their buttons until I get what I want!

Got another generic reply to my last EMail asking if I will change my EBay feedback as well as take a refund.

I have asked for $200- Oz for all the trouble they have caused me or the mirrors I have ordered and paid for.

Guess what, got an out of office reply to that request!

Surprise surprise!

I will keep bombarding them with EMails until I get some satisfaction.

Now about to start posting on all the bike forums.

This is becoming an obsession !

I hate dodgy dealers etc.

Not to refute anything you are saying Kenmore, but I had a part I ordered on the 28th March turn up on my doorstep a couple of days ago on 14th April. Maybe I was just lucky. I'm glad my part turned up before I discovered this thread or I would have been really worried. See below.

I will think twice before using them again going from your experience.

The part I purchased was a good price + free postage and delivery time was OK for China at 17 days.

Hope you get some satisfaction from them.
Cheers
Don

Something else that just occurred to me is customs. It's worth checking if something has been held in a backlog or lost at customs.

Go get em Ken

worked out how to lodge a complaint with USA E Bay.

Sent of a message and got a very speedy reply.

Still want to do a refund.

Not having a bar of that, I want what I paid for.

I did a search of their store and the E Bay site and mirrors are no longer on there that I can see.

I read their negative feedback and a pattern emerges.

Lots of complaints about no parts, but money taken.

Seems I'm not the only one .

What really ticks me off is that they probably didn't have stock but still advertised availability, took my money, then shut down for the Chinese New Year and couldn't be contacted.

Then they intimate that they have shipped the mirrors twice and almost 3 months later nothing.

I have told them via E Bay that I want what I paid for , not a refund and if they can't supply I want reasonable compensation, not just a refund.

I also searched E Bay policy and they say that sellers with customers in circumstances like mine should expedite shipping and provide tracking numbers.

They won't be able to do that because the twats obviously don't have the mirrors that they advertise.

I base the last statement on the fact that I don't have mine.

If these people think that I will take a refund they are sadly mistaken.

I am starting to enjoy this and intend to give the mongrels a merry old time.
