North Wales Police

I went to north Wales the for weekend with the wife, used the car, which turned out to be a good choice. Went through three, yes three, police speed traps, all sited to catch bikes rather than cars.

If I had gone on the bike that might have turned out to be an interesting day, go out in the morning with a clean licence, by the time you get back home you could be banned. :!: :!: :!:

What sort of locations were they at?
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

The first one was on the A5 on the way to Betws-y-coed, from Llangollen on the long straight section at Glasfryn, unmarked bike, flat twin BMW parked at the roadside.

The second one was on A470 from Betws-y-coed to Conway, police car tucked a little side road on a fast flowing bend section.

The third was on the A5 coming out of Bethesda, just as you come over a hump back bridge and just before the derestriction signs.
