Fitted the Ventura rack rails, but that meant I had to remove the old grab rail....I now need to get used to looking at the gap below the pillion seat that has been hidden by the side of the grab rail :(

A good scratch, exactly was I was thinking when reading Lloydies comment. Nice to get rid of the old dried up claret :biggrin

I've got a scar like that down the front of my thigh :eek2

(:-})
I've got one of those from my left nipple, under my armpit round to my shoulder blade. I'd rather have staples than stitches - 8 stitches in my arm was a lot more painful than 30 odd staples to remove!

Collected from the garage with a new MoT. Sailed through with no advisories. Oil & filter renewed, clutch fluid changed. Out for the first ride of the year with new Pilot 3's. What an amazing difference! So much more sure footed & no sign of the white lining experienced with the old knackered Bridgestones. :D

Took the bike for a quick dyno run today.

Right pipe is the Red and Left pipe is the Blue.

Not bad for seat of the pants tuning for the left can is not playing nicely because of a small diameter mandrel link pipe I think. :(

Fitted the SP oil cooler and braided lines to the bike. Glad to see the back of the solid, rusting chrome lines!

Also fitted some new alloy exhaust hangers to replace the chrome steel Scorpion originals which again rust to buggery.

spent the day with carlos the hippy, changed the rear wheel over so the bike now has a pair of brand new matching metzelers. refitted the exhaust with a gasket and correct size clamp, i'm waiting on one more clamp to arrive, so the lhs linkpipe is blowing a bit, hense the popping and ganging from the exhaust.
fitted 5 new exhaust springs.
changed the horn over to one that works, adjusted and lubed the chain, fixed a weeping from the rear cct. even took it for a little spin around the estate.
she's running well and looking fine....
next week it will be fairing on, sort out the bar ends, a few more decals, then its mot time......
heres few pics, a video of the new exhaust system is in the second bike thread in the pimp section
