Changed the fork oil. Question - the nut under the adjusters on the damper rod sits on top if the spring seat, right?

Checked the plugs. Both were fine but the front was rusty outside. Silicone grease on the plugs caps and new plugs (NGK Iridium DPR9EIX-9) ordered.

Spent most of the day cleaning up after my ride on the Tuna yesterday. Fabrics in the washing machine, Leathers saddle soap and leather food. The bloody radiator needs to come off to get cleaned up. What a PITA.

I took my old shock to HM Racing for a little spruce up.
New oil, gas, a K Tech spring to suit my weight and some shim stack tweaks.

The spring is slightly bigger in diameter than the old one; hope it clears everything.

The spring is now red; was yellow- :eek2
Latest:
Installed it today, regreased shock linkages, but it got cold in the unheated garage so I'll put the bodywork on next week.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Quick run down to Strood to visit Aldi as per... viewtopic.php?f=38&t=43051#p471131

To stock up with lube...

Well when I say quick I mean a 40mph trundle along the Grain road thanks to the fecking speed nazis new cameras...Grrrr

Oh & just a heads up for anyone coming this way the first camera is now just after the penultimate roudabout at the top of the hill where you first bear right... Or about 200 yards before the Gulf fuel station...It used to be just before the last roundabout...Uter uter bastids... :x :x :x
