Changed oil & fillter on Custurd, investigated the lack of a Nutral light, swapped the bulb & all is well, cleaned & lubed the chain.

Help Vanstub replace yet another missing bolt on his WoofBlade, when i say helped I mean supplied the nut, bolt & washers & lent the tools & then gave him a alcohol wipe thing for his shredded hand...

Replaced rear pads and fitted a new GPR can in place of the stock, heavy munter onthe BMW F650CS. Sounds fast but then reality sets in

All back together after another go at mainshaft brg. Even more careful this time!
New steering head brgs, front mount adjuster, chain and sprockets which sound worse than the old but that's pushing the wheel round unloaded. With the rear resisting the front it's fine, just the rollers riding up the sprocket before they seat... Seems to be a characteristic 🙄For a while I thought I had major misalignment.
Oh and it started first time, no messing with cam chain other than trying stoppers in the ccts. Yes I know manuals are foolish proof but I fancied trying them. Sounds the same. Fixed, hopefully the weep from clutch slave. Mine had a tiny ridge inside which I've eased with 1500 and metal polish. We'll see.

Thoughts on the Angel GT11s!

Have done 450 Ks on them now and they feel really planted when leaned over compared to the Sportmax 11 s that I had and got 13500 Ks out of .

They were a bit "Squirily " at the end.

The Angels ride softer yet are slower to turn , almost heavier .

I hope I get the same mileage out of them and that they stay true.

Right now they feel really good.

Time will tell.
