Wow, ouch....

Thanks to Facebook I've made some real good biking friends - and I met Pauline, the best thing to happen in my life for many years...

I don't live my life on there, but with a circle of friends all over the UK and the world, it's great to keep in contact...

I for the most part agree with Mike, but it was nice catching up with old school friends.

I'm on facebook but my security on there is tighter than a ducks butt. Facebooks crap with the changes they have been making but I do keep in touch with friends on there and I did meet my GF on there. We both commented on a mutual friends profile and as a laugh and a joke she came to Belfast for a weekend away from the kids. We hit it off and I now live in Portsmouth.

Anyone wants to add this muppet then PM me your FB email and I'll add you. I dont show up in searches.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

I'm with Mike on this.
If people want to be my friend, come to my house and I'll fire up the barbie.

All I get is people with the same surname around the world who seem to think that'll make us more likely to have other things in common too- ?? :confused ?

And people I do know ask me to throw pillows at cats or defeat dragons to find non-real jewels, or some such gonads.
Can't be arsed with it all.

Lastly, whenever you go for a job, your prospective employer WILL look on Facebook for you, so you have to keep it clean, decent and legal, which is no fun at all...

Its quite easy to stop those sorts of requests though. I am back in contact with people who have moved away or with whom I wouldn't have spoken to otherwise.

and I am in the NO camp!

cba with facebook at all. ive had several accounts on there over the years, mainly just pisstakes, but all of them ive ended up taking off either cos of work or due to one particular person causing loads of bother.
i tend to avoid it as much as possible.
some people spend far too much time on tinternets
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

hi guys , i'm on F/B (martin veck).
there are good and bad points to facebook and everyone has their own opinion.
i divide my time between london and northern spain, so it's a great tool for keeping in touch with friends and family, but on the other hand when people post the stupid things like......going shopping/having dinner/blah blah blah!!! it does make you wonder......lol
if any firestorm facebookers wanna get in touch i will befriend you hahaha......
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
