4 hours to change rear discs and pads on the golf !!!
Well 3.5 hours one side and 30 mins the other .
Wheels that wouldn’t come off and bolts that wouldn’t move !!!
A job I’ve been putting off for over a year as the golf has just been sitting in the garage but now have to get it sorted as the wife has finally passed her test .
A couple more jobs and it’ll be ready for her .

You wouldnt believe it, I couldnt myself, but our Christmas tree had been more than annoying me for a week or so..

I have asthma and like many asthma sufferers, have other allergies.

For the first time ever, my Mrs wanted a real tree, over Xmas ive been using far more inhaler than normal and also had really large hives(rash) come out all over my body. Had no idea why but I knew it was an allergic reaction to something in the enviorment.

Anyway, a couple of days ago a friend told me the problems could be related to the tree, a quick google confirmed it was more than probable so yesterday morning it was taken out of the house, viola , symptons now gone..

Clear blue skies and even a bit of sunshine but still cold. So decided to get the bikes out to clean as they get quite dusty in the living room, not touched them for a couple of months. So got both bikes out attached the hose and guess what? It starts raining as soon as I turn the tap on. Image

You should have done that job back when it was warm   unless of course you have a heated garage.

Well done to Mrs Lloydie for passing her driving test  It definitely helps when your other half can drive even if you didn't drink  :eh:

My garage is heated to a degree but the car takes all the room up so any work gets done on the drive .
I don’t mind the cold as long as it’s dry .
Just got to train the wife to fill the car up now

Fecking Tax returns .........!!!!!!!

how come I have to fill out a self assessment every bastid year?

I am not self employed, my company deducts tax at source via PAYE, HMRC correct my tax code each year but still I always end up owing the tax man more that a grand!

next year I will pay an accountant £500 to see if he can find a way to get them to owe me!.

so I payed enough to cover my bollox operation in the NHS last year, just a shame that the money doesn't get to them!

The tax man carried out a so called tax investigation on me a few years back
They are the most corrupt people i have ever dealt with and robbed me of thousands
have a word with your employers an get them to sort it out ,if that doesn't work ring them and get them to sort it out
make sure you are not registered as self employed if you are de register
When your at it ask them if you are owed and tax

Their hateful flowers
told you not to but oh no you knew better
