Ride magazine

Post by markbo »

Since becoming a firestorm owner i've bought a few ride magazines off fleabay (just to read up about them and see what others think)

thought others might be interested in these old issues too so i've uploaded them to a website here:

http://vtr.guitarpickshop.com/RIDE101.html

http://vtr.guitarpickshop.com/RIDEsep97.html

http://vtr.guitarpickshop.com/RIDEJAN2014.html

i also have jan 2000 (how to buy a used firestorm) let me know if you want it uploaded too.

Carl, is this the right place to put this topic? feel free to move it if you want to.

WTF  What is it with everyone, crikey yeh the cyberman is alive most hours so it's most likely convenient to ask me. I'm a mod for Sales and Wants, the rest of the forum is not my department.

Thanks for the link that will be an interesting to see how they compare the the two VTR's.

carl your are hero    mark, that was a good test.the main reason I baught the storm was because its usable at real world speeds.race reps that don't work under a ton are a pain in the butt 95% of the time.and its faults are easily sorted.

Very strange people. Your scaring me now.

While I have you here YMV do you know of any firefox exts that can convert a web page into a pdf with a save as? I shall have a search myself but if you know of anything of the top of your head.

I'm not an admin, look at my my name it's not Red. If I was admin I couldn't post. Let me rephrase that. I couldn't get involved so much and would have to remain impartial.
sorry Carl didn't mean to put more work your way!
No need to apologise mate. Actually I'm under-worked but then again all this posting is hard bloody work.

Right that's it I'm off to watch goglebox on +1

We use something called PhantomJS at work for publication (PDF output) of our analytics and data modules... Not sure if that's any use to you or not

Can't be more help as
1) on phone
2) i have never worked with it, i tend to work on other tasks

Gaz i'm loving the bike and the few odd cosmetic jobs i'm doing are just about within my capabilities!
there's so little to do to it really (and mechanical jobs are beyond me for now).
luckily i'm good friends with a garage owner who's also a keen biker so he'll help me with anything i need but i'm not expecting to trouble him for quite a while...

thanks for the bike!!
