Anodised titanium was out for the exhausts, as was genuine Moriwaki. PipeWerx were brilliant in producing exactly what I wanted. Top quality job. It was then a case of out with the TIG welder and modifying some link pipes to get them to sit right. I'm not entirely happy with the postion, but it's OK. I'm limited by the RSVR subframe & hangers.

I extended them by about 40mm and welded on the laser cut spring hook retainers that Pipewerks use. You really need to back purge the pipes with argon when you weld them up.

I think what I'd rather do is send them to Pipewerx in the winter and ask them to modify the 90 degree bend in the left pipe to turn tighter under the swinging arm. Once they'd got the bend sorted to my satisfaction, they could then reproduce them for you.

Has it been set up on a dyno and have you the the results?

Literally, the engine has idled for 30 seconds since I built it. So I have yet to dial in the fuelling with the butt dyno. I can usually get it as near as dammit that way. Others I've done have been so close to optimum that it has not been worth any further adjustment after a dyno run. I would expect 100-110ish at the back wheel. If I went for JE pistons and flowed heads, that would be worth another 10. The biggest gain is the weight loss. Just wheeling it around, it feels featherweight compared to how it was. That with the lower gearing & quick action throttle will make it fun. I have one of the new generation Techtronics quickshifter coming too.

If you were to split I recon you could sell most of it in a week. Most of us would have bits, we're like rabid dogs for second hands parts.

I never did get it perfect and finding someone to work with TI is next to impossible unless your rich.
