The merchant (banker!) of Venice

Post by Kev L »

I is off to Venice on Tuesday for a few days, not been before. Anyone got any must do's for me whilst I'm there?
Obviously not on the bike as the corners are a little damp!

You should visit St Mark's Square, but Do Not buy any drinks or food there unless you're rich
In my view Venice is definitely worth seeing, it's unique,

iv been there 5 years outa the last 6. great place.. its had a lot of money spent on it over the last few years to clean it up.. just forget maps and go walking and get lost in it. brilliant days dandering about.. also get the water bus/taxi out to borrano and morano or how ever they are spelt lol.. just such strange places to walk about. best thing is get a coffee and sit down and people watch.

Why would they do that? Is it that unusual in those parts to see someone drinking coffee?
Can you not shoo them away? Have they nothing better to do?
