Southend shakedown 2016

Post by StormingHonda »

So who went?

Got up yesterday about 7 am then met up with my club and rode there about 9:30, was it bloody windy in the morning, luckily the ride up there wasn't to bad though.

Was a lot more bikes up there than I expected, and Honda turned up with a collection of the most horrid looking bikes I've seen.

Had some tw@ behind me on the way home with one of the camera mounts on his head, I'm sure he was following me up the road filming me, better not end up on YouTube.

Just shows you how big the balls are on these people to do it in broad daylight in front of people.

The Southend shakedown run, is without a doubt the biggest load of sh1te going.

If you like the sound of sitting in a queue from London to Southend while groups of 12 year olds try and wheelie into you on stolen mopeds and finally getting to Southend exhausted & stressed with nowhere to park your bike or get a drink without queuing for an hour... go for it!

I went along 2 years ago, never again.

Come on Jamie, don't sugar coat it - tell us how you really feel! :P
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

From what I've heard about it you were being very constrained with your description Jamie.
