Bolloxs ... sh1t news

Post by AMCQ46 »

Been 3hrs feeling like a zombie, not able to be any help to the people I love!

Got a call from my sister in law after I got home to say her and my brother had found my mum dead at the dinner table.
She wasn't ill, spoke to her on Sunday and she was planning to come down to see the new house early November .. and now she is dead. I thought she was the Iron Lady and she would live for years!

I am now trying to count my blessings, but it still feels numb.
so glad I diverted OP Storm Scotland to drop in for coffee at her house, as that was the last time I saw her,
I am glad she went so peacfully.
I am glad my brother and sister are there an looking after each other and her partner
I am glad she found her new partner after my dad died and she had a soulmate.
I am glad I have mrs mcq to look after me.

I am even glad that I can vent to you lot and know that you understand.

Aww mate that's horrible.
I'm really sorry for your loss. She seemed a lovely person when we went up for coffee. She looked so healthy and able too.
How old was she?
Are you going up there this week?

I'm so gutted for you Al. My heart has just sunk while reading that mate. Nothing I can really say to help ease your pain but you know where I am if I can do anything at all to help. OK that's it I am going to have a double whisky and toast to to her out of respect for you mate. You have you immediate family around you so comfort each other through these tough times.

Bugger. i feel for you. Remember the good moments. My mum and dad both died years ago but i still so miss my father in Law who died in March.
The memories keep you going. Glad she wasn't alone. My condolences to you and your family.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I am so sorry for your loss. I like your term "gutted" because I am truly gutted for you. I know nothing I can say will help easy the pain but I wish there was. Death is a huge shock and tragedy in all its forms.

What a lovely lady. I only met her briefly but her good humour and joie de vivre shone out of her like a beacon. Very sad for your loss.

So sorry to hear this Al and however inevitable, prepared or unprepared it is always a massive shock - especially a mother who gave us life. Thoughts are with you and the family and at these times you appreciate their love and strength even more

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss Al, it must be a huge shock considering your Mum was not ill as far as any of you knew.

My Dad passed away last month, so I know what you are going through. The biggest thing for me was trying to come to terms with what had happened. I miss him terribly, but just trying to get my head around the new situation seems to be one of the most difficult parts so far.

My condolences to you and all of your family,

Chris.

Thinking of you, as my best friend has just moved in after loosing his mum recently. You need people that care for you close to keep you going in the right direction.
