I gather he was only included on the shortlist because Carol Nash raised a petition to persuade them.

If BBC don't show a sport on their channel then it seems to them it doesn't exist. So well done Carol Nash for getting him in there.

In previous years Moto gp riders have been mentioned in the oversea's awards but only when BBC where showing the series.. If they were fair to all sports I think Marquez should have been up for the oversea's one.

Was nice to see Nicky Hayden in with the ones that have been lost this year, along with a few others in our sport. Be much better if they were still with us though.
