Had a sick bed visit from Duffy, Mrs Duffy & Brian.

Get well soon card & doughnuts...

No offer of a bed bath tho...just as well as me water went off for some reason, came back online just before they left...just coming out of the tap a lovely rusty yellow tinge to it...

It was good to see ya Macster
You only had to ask for a bed bath but I would have had to leave my bike gloves on

Hi Mac, how you feeling mate? I have come across this on the interwebs and thought of you. I think you could be the forums official stunt man.

It’s a shame about the ferry price. It’s more and more common not to offer refunds on deposits of just about everything these days. The problem is they make the deposit a lot which hits the punter in the jewels!

I would say chin up but I’m not sure if that will hurt.

Don't worry, I'll park my bike diagonally to take up two spaces.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

So today i went back to the hosp for my first fracture clinic appointment...

X-ray first then into see the nurse to get sutures removed... Which turned out to be staples...A lot of staples... 23 of the feckers...

Doc came in for a look, tweek, poke, twist ect.

He said xray looks good, so i asked if i could see it, so after the removal of said staples I went back over to the Doc's office...

I was expecting a couple of screws holding the bone together...

Wrong...a large plate with a dozen screws holding it all in place...

This time he wouldn't let me take a pic so i cant prove it...

So you'll have to make do with a pic of the wound instead...

Image

At least 2 months* off work, which will go down well, been refered to physio which i need to sort out...

Back to hosp in 4 weeks...I'm off to phone work, phone physio & then post sick note...

* Wales is looking touch & go now... :(
