well I got "the phone call" today....
 seems the storm is a cat B write off. However the insurance have given me a fair payout so im only marginally down on what i paid for her.
My bones are a long way off riding one anyway, so i guess ill keep my eye out for the autumn bargains
will remain a passive-stormer in the meantime.

Yeah buy it back, you won't have to pay a lot for it, that's providing your insurers will allow you to buy it back of course,

I'm guessing it must have been a bit more than cosmetic damage to be a Cat B.

At least you have the Fazer to potter with when you're up to it, get well soon,

Havin been there done that. Bloody insurance company will ask for 2/3 rds of what they pay out for you to buy it.
In my position it just wasn't worth it.
Then they told me that they were only getting £100 from the salvage company that was coming to pick her up.
"Nothing I can do about it Sir." Said poor bugger on the phone....
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time

Yeah, maybe. But if you've bought a Dremmel........All you'd need is a big hammer.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

well ive been a bit neglectfull over the years and her forks are a bit jaded. Ifigured a bit of a polish up was in order hence the dremel, i tried a patch with some fine grade sandpaper and it came up a treat.
