not really a bike

well as a lot of you know i spend a fair time making flywheels for storms, my wee lathe is great for it but like men do, i always wanted a bigger one :lol: :lol:

so lets rip the ass out of it..

welcome to a 2 ton Drummond ship lathe. how im gona get it into the cave? who knows :eek2 but itl go in.. had a wee check to see how its running with a test bar in it and its running proper straight and true and payed a snip for it from a guy who really didint know what he had..

she maybe aint pretty yet but pretty dont make straight things. my wee Drummond atm can take upto about 8" dia, this bad boy with the drio bed cab take upto 17" dia.... :clap: :clap:

That is a big unit !

Looking forward to what you can do with it.

Even though I am on the other side down under I bet you could turn up some great items with that.

iv already been asked that lol :eek2

so day 3 of the move, jesus wept.. i had to build two ramps. cut a lathe shape hole in the rear door and use a winch to get the dam thing into the new part of the cave :eek2 :eek2 ..

shes gona be like a fat girl, not pretty to look at but shes a goer :clap: :clap:

Tell you what you could make, Titanium hero blobs for the footrests, they would leave a lovely spray of white sparks and you could make longer ones for the less progressive group....

actually a good idea lol

well tonight i got the fat bastid of the dolly and onto the ground, nightmare using 3 trolly jacks and 2 railway sleepers but shes in. no i can finish building the cave round it :clap: :clap:

You missed a trick, you should have dug a pit for it & that would save on materials for the step up box...

If only you'd asked for my advice first...
