New Toy...New Game, ID parade

Post by MacV2 »

So I've been looking at getting one for some time & having an ebay browse the other day I noticed that the price has come down quite a bit, Prob due to the chink factor... AhhhSole...

So I took the plunge & bought a USB microscope...

Bit of fun but actually has a use for me in ID of insects...OK I know the difference between a bee & a wasp* but it needs a microscope to tell the difference between a Ghost Ant & a Pharaoh Ant...

So as a bit of fun for all a bit of ID practice for you all to play along with or not as the case may be for the miserable ones amongst us...

So Mac's close up ID parade No.1...

What am I ?

* the difference between a bee & a wasp....The bee is a cuddly polinator of plants who as a bonus gives us Honey...

...A wasp is a stripy yellow bastid!

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
