Hmmm Would you ?

...Trust this ?

Not sure I'd feel 100% with this idea I dont even like the ratchet type strap ones...

Double D for me all the way...

There was a helmet all the rage in F1 back in the '70's GPA IIRC that was strapless...

Helmet is designed to keep integrity after crash. And this one has crack incorporated all over head. I dont believe it.

Yeah, seems like a good idea that could be a bad idea. id want to see it save about 100 other crash dummies first.

No, deffinately not for me, why would you put a weak spot in the most important part of the shell.
I think the designers of that one need to have a word with Mr Arai.

I've got to agree. Convenience over safety not a good idea. Besides what's so difficult with putting a helmet on over your head. Quick release cheek pads are good idea like Arai do if they thinking easier for emergency services to remove but I can't see any other benefit with what they have designed here.

Theoretically its a good idea in that it provides a more complete fit over your entire scone, but yeah, id have to see some testing. I can see it actually being a problem for emergency crews. Instead of just cutting a strap, they have to figure out how to open a wierd helmet without instructions that is possibly munted beyond opening normally unless it hasnt already on impact.
Could be wrong tho, could be brilliant

If i was in the market for a $900aud helmet id definitely probably look into it and try one on for size and then probably get a normal one. But it would be a shame to see someones innovation, hard work and investment go down the tubes if its a good product. All other speculative criticisms aside, I'd imagine you would want to keep your hair not much longer than a buzzcut and have small ears.
