So after many delays the court case was yesterday, and the judge has ruled that there was insuffient evidence and he has kick d it out of court as a waste of everybody's time.

Common sense prevails, but there is still a civil case, but Liz is happy to take him on in this one with the legal position that has already been establish, and the level of injury she is suffered, there is a good Chaco it will mean compensation for her...u

That must be a relief for her, and the rest of you. If he’s got any sense he’ll knock it on the head now and put it to rest.

That's good news, and also good that a no-win, no-fee ambulance chasing lawyer will go hungry.

I do feel that it's a shame that we have followed the us and become litigious over the smallest thing.
I preferred it when we either got over it or beat the sh1t out of someone and called it settled.

Well done to Liz for not giving up.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

All my best wishes to Liz, I hope she's as comfortable as she can be and has a swift recovery.

Such a shame about the other chap being so belligerent towards the situation. Hopefully Liz can claim compensation for her pain, suffering and financial loss from this fella's insurance company.

Fingers crossed.

Glad to hear.
I really do not know why these things go on so much.
Fiscal can make a decision early on, why does it need to go to court. Not everyone needs their say in court, just a letter saying "you been bad and..." or "don't be a donkey and get in with life"
Hopes she's feeling lighter now this point has passed and mending well.
Don't hassle me
I'll get there at some time
