MORIWAKI STAGE2 ENGINE PARTS

Post by Roger Ditchfield »

Hi Guys
I have just examined a Firestorm bike/engine for provenance purposes and have established the following:-
1) Moriwaki Stage2 camshafts in good condition
2) Moriwaki Magnesium carbs with Moriwaki jets and needles
3) Moriwaki Aluminium Velocity Stacks
4) Revolution ported and gasflowed cylinder heads
5) Revolution spec/Penske 3way rear damper.
The owner of the bike is unsure what to do next.
1) Sell it as a whole
2) Sell the engine separately as a whole
3) Break everything and sell as individual parts.
If anyone has an interest in any combination of the above please contact me so I can put you in touch with the seller.
Many thanks for your time
Roger

Oh, my word.
What's the frame and running gear, Roger?
Surely that engine isn't in a standard bike.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Oh my word indeed. Probably nearly as rare as hens teeth

Good luck to the person selling it,

Chris.

The rolling chassis is not the original and is virtually OEM. I assume as the bike was built by Revolution as an Endurance Race bike in 2003 the original chassis has been destroyed. I understand that a previous owner (not the seller) used the bike as a trackday bike.

I'd suggest someone snaps this up, double quick.
It's not for me, as I've just bought something else.

from what I remember it was painted in Kenny Roberts yellow with Speedblocks and looked like a heap of tat., He took a gamble on it as the previous owners claims were pretty vague, and the price wasn't very high.

looks like he got lucky

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
