Nah, it's only a .22 spring one... My 10 shot bolt action pre-charged pneumatic one would be the better bet...

Yeah me other one is an AirArms s410 carbine 10 shot 22.

Got an old Diablo springer as well...

Atcually looked at the new one properly today ..Its a BSA Lightning SLXE .22 springer.

I have a pre war Haenel mod 11 DRP •177 dated from 1925-1938(according to google) which I found in the loft of a house I demolished before I retired from work.Still works perfectly.
SO WHEN DOES THIS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER KICK IN

Funny you should mention that as I had a Haenel air rifle too, although mine was a bit newer than yours by the sounds of it plus it was a .22 I also had a BSA Meteor .22, and the only air rifle I bought brand new was a BSA Mercury .22. The other two guns I had was my Dad's old double barrel 12 bore shotgun, and a Cooey single barrel 12 bore. I also had a couple of air pistols at one point,

Had a little play today with the BSA & the AA S410...

Killed some targets, some cans, some crockery & an Airfix Corsair II...
